Building a life in another country is not something you should have to do alone.

Two years ago, we set out with this belief. Since then, we have come together with the same intention — sometimes in a park, sometimes in an indoor venue, sometimes in Barcelona, sometimes in another city: to create a space where children can play safely and parents can feel that they are not alone.

Let the children meet through play.

Let parents find people who can say, “We’ve been through the same thing.” Let the invisible weight on their shoulders feel a little lighter. Let no one feel they have to walk the migration journey alone.

We have come together 14 times. And 14 times, we have heard: “I had no idea it would be this wonderful.”

Now, we are waiting for you at our 15th gathering.

Is this your first time joining us?

Amazing!

You may not know anyone. You may have just moved to Barcelona or have been living here for years. It does not matter.

If you need a few hours where your child can play safely and you can finally breathe a little more freely, this gathering is for you.

We all know what it feels like to be a foreigner in Barcelona. Sometimes, simply meeting someone who speaks the same language, watching your child play happily, and not having to explain anything to anyone can feel incredibly comforting.

So far, more than 200 children have played together and formed friendships. Some parents have even gone on to start businesses together. At every gathering, we witness new friendships, new forms of solidarity and, sometimes, shared dreams taking shape.

This time, we are celebrating our 15th gathering with the spirit of a summer festival ☀️

Because for us, migration is about much more than moving from one country to another.

Migration is a process of rebuilding relationships, parenthood, childhood and a sense of belonging. Sezen Entertainment’s organisation, ACET’s support and Nest Abroad’s expertise are here to help people find one another throughout this journey.

Every gathering is designed through the perspective of clinical psychology, with the aim of creating an environment where both children and parents can feel safe.
