It’s been a long time coming, and our regulars have been asking non-stop…The wait is over: Istanbul Elsewhere is growing — and after Lisbon, we’re bringing a little corner of Istanbul to Barcelona!
This new chapter will be lovingly hosted by our friends and founders of Sezen Entertainment Batuhan Zümrüt and Berk Şenöz. And we’re kicking it all off with our very first Pop-up Meyhane on June 18 — joined by our all-time barba, Tan Morgül.
We’ll be gathering at Abreletas Bar, a cozy and character-filled Vermuteria tucked inside Poble Espanyol — a place that looks like a film set with its cobblestone streets, charming courtyards, and 1930s architecture, built as a tribute to “a portrait of Spain.”
